Learning how to survive in the Swedish Arctic with Elite Soldiers, a Snowmobiling Speed Demon Bond Girl and a Husky!

Welcome back to my blog! I’ve been gone for while… approximately eighteen months actually, but you my readers and my blog have never been too far from my mind. And I’m extremely excited about what I’ve got to share with you.

Absolutely first on the list is my series of blogs on my time in the Swedish Arctic in March this year with Military Adventure & Survival Companies X Platoon and Cold Skills. As my title implies, I went with a group of Elite Soldiers thoroughly versed in Winter survival, a female bush craft expert and Snowmobiling speed demon, a beautiful husky called Arrax and a small group of intrepid explorers who, like me were on the hunt for adventure and expanding their skill set. And wanting to do that while being respectful to nature and learning from the best.

It was an amazing experience and I learnt so much about surviving in extreme cold conditions, and all this while surrounded by the breathtakingly spectacular North East Swedish landscape and eating fabulous freshly prepared food.

There is so much I would like to say, there is a sense in which I don’t know where to start, so I’m going to make these particular blogs more photographically heavy than wordy.

Let me share a few of my photos with you now to give you an idea of what’s coming in the next few weeks and months.

Thank you so much for reading.
